Submitting claims
electronically may require using a modem and telecom software to
connect to the insurance carrier's computer to both send and receive
files. Depending on your computer platform, you have two choices:
Some commercial carriers will acept your
claims using the internet. You will need to work with the specific
clearinghouse to learn their interface.
